Texas High School Football - Memorial overwhelms Independence

October 13, 2023: Frisco, TX 75033

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Memorial Warriors (Frisco, TX) and the visiting Independence Knights (Frisco, TX), observed Memorial's football squad bounce Independence by a count of 48-0.

The Warriors now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Denton for a 5A-2 Region I District 3 contest on Friday, October 20. Memorial will encounter a Broncos squad coming off a 36-33 league win over Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 3-4.

Coming up next, the Knights encounter the Argyle Eagles (Argyle, TX) in a 5A-2 Region I District 3 contest, on Thursday, October 19. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 41-34 league win over Emerson (McKinney, TX).

    The quarterback for memorial has pretty bad game IQ from what I’ve seen these last few weeks he holds the ball way too long just want to run
