Texas High School Football - Kaufer crushed by Santa Maria

Santa Maria Cougars (Santa Maria, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Kaufer Seahawks (Riviera, TX), 55-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Santa Maria improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to La Villa (La Villa, TX) to battle the Cardinals in a 2A-1 Region IV District 16 test on Friday, October 20. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 5-2. La Villa won 20-2 in their recent league test against Ben Bolt (Ben Bolt, TX)

With the loss, Kaufer drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Seahawks host Premont (Premont, TX) to battle the Cowboys in a 2A-1 Region IV District 16 test on Friday, October 20. The Cowboys come into the test with a record of 2-4. Premont lost 27-0 in their recent league test against Freer (Freer, TX)
