The KIPP Pride Pride football team (Gaston, NC), was beaten 38-14 in Friday's league challenge with the host Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC)

The Vikings (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Northampton County (Gaston, NC). The Jaguars come into the Tar Roanoke 1A challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Northampton County was beaten by Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC), 34-28, in a league challenge.

The Pride now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Weldon for a Tar Roanoke 1A challenge on Friday, October 20. KIPP Pride will meet a Chargers team coming off a 36-6 league win over North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 3-3.
