In Friday's league match, the host Laconia Sachems football squad scored a close 21-14 victory over the Pembroke Spartans.
In their next game, the Sachems clash with the Sanborn Regional Indians (Kingston, NH) in a Division II - East match, on Saturday, October 21. Laconia will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 5-2 record after their 23-20 non-league win over Stark (Weare, NH).
The Spartans (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Bow (Bow, NH). The Falcons enter the Division II - East match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Bow was nudged by St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover, NH), 18-9, in a league match.
