The Lansing Bobcats football squad scored 27 points and restricted the visiting Whitney Point Eagles to 6 in the Bobcats league triumph on Friday.

The Bobcats (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Montrose (Montrose, PA). The Meteors come into the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Montrose was knocked off by Columbia Montour Vo-Tech (Bloomsburg, PA), 46-14, in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour for a Section 4 C challenge on Friday, October 20. Whitney Point will meet a Storm team coming off a 55-14 league win over Sidney (Sidney, NY). The Storm record now stands at 4-3.
