The South Gibson Hornets topped the host Lexington Tigers football team by a count of 27-2 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, South Gibson upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to Jackson North Side (Jackson, TN) to confront the Indians in a 4A Region 6 outing on Friday, October 20. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 4-4. Jackson North Side won 23-20 in their recent league outing against Jackson South Side (Jackson, TN)

With the loss, Lexington moves to 3-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Chester County (Henderson, TN) to confront the Eagles in a 4A Region 6 outing on Friday, October 20. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 2-6. Chester County won 35-6 in their recent non-league outing against Freedom Prep Academy (Memphis, TN)
