The Liberty Panthers football team (Liberty, TX), was ripped 49-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Silsbee Tigers (Silsbee, TX)

The Tigers (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX). The Longhorns come into the 4A-2 Region III District 9 challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, Hamshire-Fannett trounced Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX), 49-12, in a league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hamshire-Fannett for a 4A-2 Region III District 9 challenge on Friday, October 27.
