South Carolina High School Football - Lower Richland overwhelms Swansea

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC) and the visiting Swansea Tigers (Swansea, SC), observed Lower Richland's football squad bounce Swansea by a count of 49-7.

The Diamond Hornets now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Orangeburg-Wilkinson for a AAA Region 5 contest on Friday, October 20. Lower Richland will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 48-14 league loss to Gilbert (Gilbert, SC). The Bruins record now stands at 0-7.

Coming up next, the Tigers encounter the Brookland-Cayce Bearcats (Cayce, SC) in a AAA Region 5 contest, on Friday, October 20. Swansea will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Bearcats go into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 41-35 league win over Dreher (Columbia, SC).
