The South Lafourche Tarpons football squad scored 35 points and restricted the host Morgan City Tigers to 14 in the Tarpons league victory on Friday.

The Tarpons now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Louis Catholic for a non-league battle on Friday, October 20. South Lafourche will play a Saints squad coming off a 34-7 league win over Lake Charles College Prep (Lake Charles, LA). The Saints record now stands at 6-1.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the South Terrebonne Gators (Bourg, LA) in a 4A District 7 battle, on Friday, October 20. Morgan City will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Gators enter the battle with a 1-6 record after their 41-14 league loss to Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA).
