The Moriarty Pintos football squad scored 34 points and restricted the visiting Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes to 6 in the Pintos league victory on Friday.

The Pintos now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Espanola Valley for a 4A District 2 battle on Friday, October 20. Moriarty will face a Sundevils squad coming off a 38-25 league win over Taos (Taos, NM). The Sundevils record now stands at 5-3.

Coming up next, the Elks/Elkettes face the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) in a 4A District 2 battle, on Friday, October 20. Pojoaque Valley will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 2-6 record after their 38-25 league loss to Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM).
