Maryland High School Football - Northern held off by Mountain Ridge

October 13, 2023: Frostburg, MD 21532

In Friday's league game, the Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) football team tipped the visiting Northern Huskies (Accident, MD), by a score of 28-21.

The Miners (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Williamsport (Williamsport, MD). The Wildcats come into the non-league game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Williamsport was tipped by South Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD), 43-14, in a league game.

The Huskies now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Allegany for a Western Maryland game on Friday, October 20. Northern will battle a Campers team coming off a 56-13 non-league win over Keyser (Keyser, WV). The Campers record now stands at 5-2.
