In Friday's league match, the host Nativity BVM Green Wave football squad scored a good 32-19 victory over the Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils.

In their next game, the Green Wave clash with the Mahanoy Area Golden Bears (Mahanoy City, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - Blue match, on Saturday, October 21. Nativity BVM will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Golden Bears enter the match with a 2-7 record after their 27-20 league win over Tri-Valley (Hegins, PA).

The Blue Devils (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Williams Valley (Tower City, PA). The Vikings enter the Colonial-Schuylkill - Blue match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Williams Valley ran past Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA), 13-6, in a league match.
