Pewitt Brahmas (Omaha, TX) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team nudge the visiting New Boston Lions (New Boston, TX), 38-36 in a league test.

With the win, Pewitt improves its record to 1-7 on the season. The Brahmas travel to Prairiland (Pattonville, TX) to confront the Patriots in a 3A-2 Region III District 10 test on Friday, October 27. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 3-5.

With the loss, New Boston moves to 3-4 on the season. The Lions host Prairiland (Pattonville, TX) to confront the Patriots in a 3A-2 Region III District 10 test on Friday, October 20. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 3-5. Prairiland lost 54-16 in their recent league test against De Kalb (De Kalb, TX)
