Colorado High School Football - Rye knocks off Peyton

The Rye Thunderbolts football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Peyton Panthers to 12 in the Thunderbolts league win on Friday.

The Thunderbolts now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Banning Lewis Academy for a 1A Tri Peaks battle on Friday, October 20. Rye will play a Stallions squad coming off a 48-0 league win over Colorado Springs Christian (Colorado Springs, CO). The Stallions record now stands at 7-0.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Rocky Ford Meloneers (Rocky Ford, CO) in a 1A Tri Peaks battle, on Thursday, October 19. Peyton will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Meloneers go into the battle with a 0-7 record after their 46-8 league loss to Ellicott (Calhan, CO).
