North Carolina High School Football - Pisgah felled by Tuscola

The Pisgah Bears football team (Canton, NC), was knocked off 27-10 in Friday's league challenge with the host Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC)

The Mountaineers (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC). The Mustangs come into the 3A Mountain 7 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Smoky Mountain knocked off Franklin (Franklin, NC), 20-19, in a league challenge.

The Bears now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host East Henderson for a 3A Mountain 7 challenge on Friday, October 20. Pisgah will meet a Eagles team coming off a 34-0 league loss to North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-8.
