The Sparta Academy Warriors football team (Evergreen, AL), was ripped 50-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting South Choctaw Academy Rebels (Toxey, AL)
The Rebels (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Escambia Academy (Atmore, AL). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Escambia Academy was ripped by Patrician Academy (Butler, AL), 42-14, in a league challenge.
The Warriors now sport a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they host Snook Christian Academy for a AISA A Region II challenge on Friday, October 20. Sparta Academy will meet a Eagles team coming off a 48-7 league loss to Wilcox Academy (Camden, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 0-7.
