The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Watertown Arrows (Watertown, SD) and the host Spearfish Spartans (Spearfish, SD), observed Watertown's football squad bounce Spearfish by a count of 42-7.
The Arrows now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Tea for a Eastern South Dakota - AA contest on Thursday, October 19. Watertown will play a Titans squad coming off a 26-18 league loss to Riggs (Pierre, SD). The Titans record now stands at 5-3.
Coming up next, the Spartans play the Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD) in a Black Hills - Mount Rushmore contest, on Thursday, October 19. Spearfish will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Scoopers go into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 45-21 league win over Douglas (Box Elder, SD).
