The University Hawks football team (Morgantown, WV), was ripped 49-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Spring Mills Cardinals (Martinsburg, WV)
The Cardinals (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV). The Bulldogs come into the Eastern Panhandle challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Martinsburg trounced Washington (Charles Town, WV), 68-0, in a league challenge.
The Hawks now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Preston for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 20. University will meet a Knights team coming off a 52-7 league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV). The Knights record now stands at 1-6.
