Oregon High School Football - Springfield trounces Willamette

In Friday's league match, the host Springfield Millers football squad scored a big 54-0 victory over the Willamette Wolverines.

In their next game, the Millers clash with the North Eugene Highlanders (Eugene, OR) in a 5A Special District 2 match, on Friday, October 20. Springfield will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Highlanders enter the match with a 2-5 record after their 47-0 league loss to Churchill (Eugene, OR).

The Wolverines (0-7) will now prepare for their match against Thurston (Springfield, OR). The Colts enter the 5A Special District 2 match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Thurston routed South Eugene (Eugene, OR), 42-0, in a league match.
