The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Surry County Cougars (Dendron, VA) and the host Windsor Dukes (Windsor, VA), observed Surry County's football squad bounce Windsor by a tally of 72-39.

The Cougars now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Southampton for a Tri-Rivers contest on Friday, October 20. Surry County will play a Indians squad coming off a 43-0 league win over Greensville County (Emporia, VA). The Indians record now stands at 2-5.
