South Carolina High School Football - Whitmire victorious over Williston-Elko

In Friday's non-league match, the host Whitmire Wolverines football squad scored a good 44-20 victory over the Williston-Elko Blue Devils.

In their next game, the Wolverines clash with the Lewisville Lions (Richburg, SC) in a A Region 3 match, on Friday, October 20. Whitmire will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 7-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Great Falls (Great Falls, SC).

The Blue Devils (0-8) will now prepare for their match against Blackville-Hilda (Blackville, SC). The Fighting Hawks enter the A Region 4 match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Blackville-Hilda was toppled by Calhoun County (St. Matthews, SC), 34-7, in a league match.
