The Valley Vikings topped the visiting West Mesa Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Vikings now have a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hope Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 17. Valley will confront a Huskies team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Huskies record now stands at 4-6.
The Mustangs (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions enter the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Farmington gained a win over Sandia (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league test.
