The Orange Panthers (Hillsborough, NC) soccer nudged the host Eno River Bobcats (Hillsborough, NC), 2-1 in Friday's non-league bout.

With the win, Orange moves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Southern Alamance (Graham, NC) to battle the Patriots in a Central 3A bout on Monday, October 16. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Southern Alamance won 5-0 in their recent league bout against Person (Roxboro, NC)

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Vance Charter Knights (Henderson, NC) in a Triangle North 1A bout, on Monday, October 23. Eno River will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record.
