The Cleveland Cavaliers volleyball team (Reseda, CA), was dropped 2-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA)

The Panthers (19-4) will now prepare for their challenge against New West Charter (Los Angeles, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 12-7 record. In their last challenge, New West Charter defeated Horace Mann UCLA Community (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cavaliers meet the Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 14. Cleveland will attempt to move on its 17-19 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 19-12 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Notre Dame Academy (Los Angeles, CA).
