The Oxford Wolverines volleyball team (Oxford, CT), was dropped 3-1 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Kennedy Eagles (Waterbury, CT)

The Eagles (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Crosby (Waterbury, CT). The Bulldogs enter the Naugatuck Valley challenge with a 1-10 record.

Next, the Wolverines meet the Seymour Wildcats (Seymour, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley challenge, on Tuesday, October 17. Oxford will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 16-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT).
