The Palatine Pirates topped the host Maine West Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Pirates now have a 13-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Libertyville for a non-league test on Friday, October 13. Palatine will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 league win over Zion-Benton (Zion, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 23-6.
The Warriors (4-23) will now prepare for their test against Jacobs (Algonquin, IL). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league test with a 12-13 record. In their last test, Jacobs was knocked off by Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
