The Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers to 1 in the Cajuns non-league victory on Friday.

The Cajuns now possess a 18-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Academy of the Sacred Heart for a non-league game on Friday, October 13. Metairie Park Country Day will meet a Saints team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA). The Saints record now stands at 10-10.

The Redstickers (10-13) will now prepare for their game against E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA). The Cardinals enter the non-league game with a 19-7 record. In their last game, E.D. White nipped Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
