The Green Hope Falcons flag football team (Cary, NC), was crushed 33-0 in Monday's non-league bout with the host Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC)

With the win, Wakefield advances its record to 15-0 on the season. The Wolverines host Broughton (Raleigh, NC) to confront the Capitals in a CAP 8A contest on Monday, October 20. The Capitals enter the contest with a record of 5-6.

Coming up next, the Falcons confront the Heritage Huskies (Wake Forest, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 13. Green Hope will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Huskies enter the contest with a 6-4 record after their 22-0 league win over East Wake (Wendell, NC).
