Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Westland Cougars (Galloway, OH) and the visiting Bishop Ready Silver Knights (Columbus, OH), saw Westland's soccer squad knock off Bishop Ready by a count of 4-2.
The Cougars (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln (Gahanna, OH). The Lions enter the non-league battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Lincoln by Big Walnut (Sunbury, OH), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Silver Knights battle the Lakewood Lancers (Hebron, OH) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 18. Bishop Ready will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Lancers enter the battle with a 3-12 record after their 4-4 non-league Liberty Union (Baltimore, OH).
