Illinois High School Soccer - Carmel nudges Saint Viator

The Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) soccer nipped the host Saint Viator Lions (Arlington Heights, IL), 2-1 in Monday's league challenge.
The Corsairs now hold a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Zurich for a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 14. Carmel will face a Bears team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Palatine (Palatine, IL). The Bears record now stands at 8-9.
The Lions (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Northridge (Niles, IL). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Northridge was nudged by Niles West (Skokie, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
