The Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils held off the host Western International Cowboys soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Monday's non-league game.
Next, the Blue Devils face the University of Detroit Jesuit Cubs (Detroit, MI) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, October 15. Grosse Pointe South will attempt to advance on its 7-7 season record. The Cubs come into the game with a 15-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Fordson (Dearborn, MI).
With the loss, Western International moves to 10-6 on the year.
