Youngsville Academy Charter Firebirds (Youngsville, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Capitol Encore Academy Dragons (Fayetteville, NC), 8-1 in a non-league bout.
The Firebirds now hold a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Winston Salem Christian for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 14. Youngsville Academy Charter will play a Lions squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Davidson Day (Davidson, NC). The Lions record now stands at 16-5.
With the loss, Capitol Encore Academy drops to 0-2 on the season.
