Kansas High School Volleyball - Maranatha Christian Academy over Bishop Ward

The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Maranatha Christian Academy Eagles (Shawnee, KS) and the host Bishop Ward Cyclones (Kansas City, KS), saw Maranatha Christian Academy's volleyball squad notch a victory over Bishop Ward by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Maranatha Christian Academy improves its record to 34-4 on the season. The Eagles host Sabetha (Sabetha, KS) to encounter the Bluejays in a non-league battle on Monday, October 20. The Bluejays go into the battle with a record of 4-29. Sabetha lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS)

The Cyclones now own a 7-21 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oskaloosa for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 14. Bishop Ward will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Horton (Horton, KS). The Bears record now stands at 5-19.
