The Christ the King Gladiators topped the visiting Providence-St. Mel Knights volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Monday's league game.

Next up, the Gladiators confront the Our Lady of Tepeyac Tigers (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Prep game, on Thursday, October 16. Christ the King will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 4-10 record after their 2-1 league loss to Northtown (Chicago, IL).

The Knights (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Northtown (Chicago, IL). The Pumas go into the Chicago Prep game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, Northtown gained a win over Our Lady of Tepeyac (Chicago, IL), 2-1, in a league game.
