Vermont High School Volleyball - Rice Memorial over Colchester

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Rice Memorial Green Knights (South Burlington, VT) and the visiting Colchester Lakers (Colchester, VT), observed Rice Memorial's volleyball team top Colchester by a count of 3-0.

The Green Knights (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Burlington (Burlington, VT). The Seahorses go into the Division 1 battle with a 1-11 record. In their last battle, Burlington dropped by Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT), 3-1, in a league battle.

The Lakers now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hartford for a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 15. Colchester will encounter a Hurricanes team coming off a 3-0 league win over Vermont Commons (South Burlington, VT). The Hurricanes record now stands at 9-2.
