The Freeman Mavericks volleyball squad scored 3 points and limited the host Varina Blue Devils to 0 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Monday.
Next up, the Mavericks confront the Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) in a Colonial match, on Tuesday, October 14. Freeman will attempt to advance on its 11-3 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 5-12 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA).
The Blue Devils (4-9) will now prepare for their match against Hermitage (Richmond, VA). The Panthers enter the non-league match with a 3-12 record. In their last match, Hermitage was dropped by J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA), 3-1, in a league bout.
