The Thompson Tommies (Thompson, ND) volleyball overcame the host Hatton/Northwood Thunder (Northwood, ND), 3-0 in Monday's league contest.
The Tommies (15-2) will now prepare for their contest against Carrington (Carrington, ND). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 13-1 record. In their last contest, Carrington notched a victory over Shiloh Christian (Bismarck, ND), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Thunder encounter the Cavalier Tornadoes (Cavalier, ND) in a B - Region 2 battle, on Tuesday, October 14. Hatton/Northwood will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Tornadoes go into the battle with a 11-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Larimore (Larimore, ND).
