The Taconic Thunder (Pittsfield, MA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Monument Mountain Spartans (Great Barrington, MA), 3-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Thunder now possess a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they host Southwick Regional for a non-league match on Wednesday, October 15. Taconic will battle a Rams squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Pope Francis Prep (Springfield, MA). The Rams record now stands at 6-9.
The Spartans (11-5) will now prepare for their match against Granby (Granby, MA). The Rams enter the non-league match with a 11-5 record. In their last match, Granby was outscored by Greenfield (Greenfield, MA), 3-1, in a non-league match.
