With the win, Port Allen improves its record to 6-13 on the season. The Pelicans travel to Mentorship Academy (Baton Rouge, LA) to encounter the Sharks in a Division III District 4 battle on Thursday, October 16. The Sharks go into the battle with a record of 4-11. Mentorship Academy won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against St. Helena College and Career Academy (Greensburg, LA)

The Hornets now own a 1-23 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belaire for a Division II District 5 battle on Tuesday, October 14.
