The McKinley Panthers football team (Baton Rouge, LA), was ripped 66-6 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Catholic-B.R. Bears (Baton Rouge, LA)
The Bears (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Amant (St. Amant, LA). The Gators come into the 5A District 5 challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Amant was ripped by Woodlawn-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA), 48-41, in a league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dutchtown for a 5A District 5 challenge on Thursday, October 21. McKinley will meet a Griffins team coming off a 35-20 league loss to East Ascension (Gonzales, LA). The Griffins record now stands at 4-2.
