The Gehlen Catholic Jays (Le Mars, IA) football defeated the visiting Alta-Aurelia Warriors (Alta, IA), 44-14 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Jays face the Tri-Center Trojans (Neola, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 21. Gehlen Catholic will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 4-4 record after their 40-29 league win over Westwood (Sloan, IA).
