Ohio High School Football - Ansonia tips Preble Shawnee

October 14, 2022: Ansonia, OH 45303

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Ansonia Tigers (Ansonia, OH) and the visiting Preble Shawnee Arrows (Camden, OH), observed Ansonia's football squad edge Preble Shawnee by a count of 20-14.

The Tigers now own a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mississinawa Valley for a Western Ohio contest on Friday, October 21. Ansonia will encounter a Blackhawks squad coming off a 49-8 league loss to Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH). The Blackhawks record now stands at 1-8.

Coming up next, the Arrows encounter the Dixie Greyhounds (New Lebanon, OH) in a Western Ohio contest, on Friday, October 21. Preble Shawnee will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Greyhounds go into the contest with a 0-9 record after their 28-0 league loss to Arcanum (Arcanum, OH).
