The Appalachian Eagles football team (Oneonta, AL), was ripped 42-6 in Friday's league challenge with the host Coosa Christian Conquerors (Gadsden, AL)

The Conquerors (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodville (Woodville, AL). The Panthers come into the 1A Region 7 challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Woodville was ripped by Valley Head (Valley Head, AL), 60-8, in a league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Cedar Bluff for a 1A Region 7 challenge on Friday, October 21. Appalachian will meet a Tigers team coming off a 41-14 league loss to Coosa Christian (Gadsden, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-6.
