The Wynne Yellowjackets topped the visiting Batesville Pioneers football team by a final score of 23-10 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Wynne improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Paragould (Paragould, AR) to confront the Rams in a 5A East outing on Friday, October 21. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 1-6. Paragould lost 20-6 in their recent league outing against Forrest City (Forrest City, AR)

With the loss, Batesville moves to 5-2 on the season. The Pioneers host Brookland (Brookland, AR) to confront the Bearcats in a 5A East outing on Friday, October 21. The Bearcats go into the outing with a record of 1-6. Brookland lost 42-7 in their recent league outing against Valley View (Jonesboro, AR)
