The Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies football squad scored 28 points and restricted the host Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan Seahawks to 14 in the Huskies league victory on Friday.

The Huskies now possess a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rapid City Christian for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 20. Elk Point-Jefferson will face a Comets squad coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central (Woonsocket, SD). The Comets record now stands at 4-4.

Coming up next, the Seahawks face the Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 20. Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Bison enter the battle with a 6-2 record after their 42-0 league win over Hill City (Hill City, SD).
