Calhoun Academy Cougars (Calhoun City, MS) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Humphreys Academy Rebels (Belzoni, MS), 50-30 in a league test.
With the triumph, Calhoun Academy improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Manchester Academy (Yazoo City, MS) to battle the Mavericks in a MAIS 8-Man 2A District 1 (8 Man) test on Friday, October 21. The Mavericks come into the test with a record of 7-2. Manchester Academy won 50-8 in their recent league test against Marvell Academy (Marvell, AR)
With the loss, Humphreys Academy drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Delta Academy (Marks, MS) to battle the Raiders in a non-league test on Friday, October 21. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 4-5. Delta Academy lost 56-36 in their recent league test against DeSoto (West Helena, AR)
