North Carolina High School Football - Polk County knocked off by Chase

October 14, 2022: Forest City, NC 28043

Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC), 48-27 in a league test.

With the triumph, Chase improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Patton (Morganton, NC) to battle the Panthers in a 2A West Conference 41 test on Friday, October 21. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 1-7. Patton lost 54-0 in their recent league test against Brevard (Brevard, NC)

With the loss, Polk County drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Wolverines host East Rutherford (Forest City, NC) to battle the Cavaliers in a 2A West Conference 41 test on Friday, October 21. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 1-8. East Rutherford lost 48-8 in their recent league test against R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC)
