Alabama High School Football - Oxford tipped by Clay-Chalkville

The Oxford Yellow Jackets football team (Oxford, AL), was tipped 25-20 in Friday's league challenge with the host Clay-Chalkville Cougars (Pinson, AL)

The Cougars (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Shades Valley (Birmingham, AL). The Mounties come into the 6A Region 6 challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Shades Valley was tipped by Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL), 23-6, in a league challenge.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Center Point for a 6A Region 6 challenge on Friday, October 21. Oxford will meet a Eagles team coming off a 29-22 league win over Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 7-1.
