South Carolina High School Football - Colleton County crushed by May River

In Friday's league game, the May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) football team smashed the host Colleton County Cougars (Walterboro, SC), by a final score of 48-7.

The Sharks (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Bluffton (Bluffton, SC). The Bobcats come into the AAAA Region 7 game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Bluffton was trounced by James Island (Charleston, SC), 56-10, in a league game.

The Cougars now hold a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lucy Beckham for a AAAA Region 7 game on Friday, October 21. Colleton County will battle a team coming off a 19-17 league win over Hilton Head Island (Hilton Head Island, SC). The record now stands at 6-2.
