The Lummi Blackhawks thwarted the visiting Crescent Loggers football team by a count of 40-22 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, Lummi upgrades its record to 2-4 on the year. The Blackhawks travel to Concrete (Concrete, WA) to face the Lions in a 1B Northwest (8 Man) bout on Friday, October 21. The Lions enter the bout with a record of 0-6. Concrete lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Neah Bay (Neah Bay, WA)
The Loggers (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against Darrington (Darrington, WA). The Loggers enter the 1B Northwest (8 Man) bout with a 5-2 record. In their last bout, Darrington was toppled by Quilcene (Quilcene, WA), 44-6, in a non-league bout.
